Prescribed Fire Training Schedule

Our current schedule for prescribed fire training in Florida is listed below, but can change so please check it periodically.

The Certified Burner Correspondence Courses are for experienced burners who want to polish their skills and receive certification from the Division of Forestry. The certification can not be "grand fathered", the Florida Legislature made it clear in the prescribed fire act of 1990 that the only way to become certified in Florida is through the Certified Burner Program or the Inter-Agency Prescribed Fire Course - also taught in Florida.
