* The Tree Protection Manual for Builders and Developers (published in October, 1985) went out of print several years ago. Surviving copies of this publication would contain too much obsolete information to be reproduced.
Any recommendations that our agency provides on this topic are based on the book written by Matheny and Clarke, which is available on the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) website. You may also wish to consult the appropriate chapter of the online Urban Forestry Manual, which is available at the Urban Forestry South website. We do receive numerous requests for this manual, and we are making it a high priority to develop a new version in the near future.
