Bare Root Tree Seedlings For Sale
2010- 2011 Seedling Deliveries
In the interest of seedling quality, the Division of Forestry will postpone lifting operations and subsequent delivery of bare root tree seedlings when weather conditions are unfavorable. If there are such postponements, customers will be notified of the revised delivery dates. The delivery dates listed are for your convenience and do not necessarily reflect the optimum planting times.
To obtain the freshest trees, customers are encouraged to pick up seedlings at Andrews Nursery. However, for an additional delivery fee, the Florida Division of Forestry will deliver seedlings in refrigerated trucks to predetermined locations. We do not deliver seedlings to residences or planting sites. Customers should pick up seedlings on the scheduled delivery day and no more than three days after actual delivery. As a courtesy, the nursery will send you a postcard the week prior to your scheduled delivery date to remind you of the location and date of your seedling delivery.
There are no delivery charges if you pick up your bare root tree seedlings at the Andrews Nursery. YOU, OUR CUSTOMER, are responsible for scheduling a pickup or delivery date with the nursery staff. You may do this by indicating a delivery or pickup date on your form when you send in your order, or, if you are unable to specify a date at that time, simply check the "Will Notify" option on the order form. By checking this option your order is placed in an inactive status UNTIL YOU CALL and inform the nursery when you wish to receive your seedlings. Seedlings which are to be sent to a delivery point, but which remain in a "Will Notify" status throughout the winter will automatically be shipped to the specified delivery point on the last delivery date. When scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling the pickup or delivery of seedlings, please call the nursery at least (5) working days prior to the date scheduled. This lead time will assist the nursery in providing you the freshest possible seedlings on your specified date. If the nursery is unable to fill your order on the date specified, the nursery will notify you and arrange a new pickup or delivery date. 2010- 2011 Delivery ScheduleI. 2010- 2011 Monthly DeliveriesSaturday Delivery Dates and Locations:December 11 January 15 February 19
