Timeline for Contractors
- January “Year A”
Last Friday in January proposals due for projects that will start in November of “Year A” and continue to November of “Year B” (the following year). Some projects may require a later end date because of phenology of target plants. In this case, let us know and we will work with you to adjust the schedule accordingly.
- July or August “Year A”
Plant Conservation Program will let contractors know if their project will be funded for the year, starting in November. Contractors will receive acceptance communication as soon as possible by the Plant Conservation Program following acceptance and final allocation of funds by the United State Fish and Wildlife Service.
- November “Year A”
Work starts for contractors.
- May “Year B”
Interim Reports due (done in same format as Proposal). First of two payments paid upon receiving the Interim Report.
- November “Year B”
Final Reports due (also done in same format as Proposal and Interim Report). Last of two payments paid upon receiving the Interim Report. Multiyear projects continue forward.
